1987P U.S. Constitution Bicentennial SILVER dollar commemorates the 200th anniversary of the United States Constitution. On the obverse are depicted a quill pen, a sheaf of parchment, and the words WE THE PEOPLE. The reverse portrays a cross-section of Americans from various periods representing contrasting lifestyles. A very limited mintage of only 451,629 coins. The "Spot Price" of Silver on 5/23/2011 was $35.05 /oz.
