This is an uncirculated 1994 National Prisoner of War Museum Silver Dollar, minted at the United States Mint in West Point. The coin was designed by Tom Nielson and Edgar Z. Steever. On the obverse side, a bald eagle is depicted in flight with a broken chain around one of its legs, and barbed wire around the edge. The reverse side features the plan view of the proposed Prisoner of War Museum. This coin is one of a limited mintage of 54,893 total minted at West Point. It does show light surface wear. The coin comes in a clear protective case. This coin is composed of 90% (.900) silver, and has a diameter of 38.1mm and a weight of 26.73 grams.
