19th c. Am. Yellow Tole Box

A nice Am. canary yellow paint-decorated tole box was made in the 19th c. and would have held coins or other small treasures. Domed-hinged top with a lift-ring & hasp. Decorated with red flowers, green leaves and line borders. The interior of the lid has some modern crayon marks, from a child on the underside. I've left it alone.

The condition is good. Normal paint loss from use & storage. There are no dents, creases or dimples. Height is 2-3/4 in., length is 4-1/4 in., depth is 2-7/8 in.
