19TH CENT BLUE TRANSFERWARE TEAPOT/SUGAR W.ADAMS & SONS

I am pleased to offer for auction this set of antique English Staffordshire blue transferware consisting of a teapot and sugar. They are made by William Adams & Sons who were in business under that name from 1834-1853.Only the teapot is marked but they are obviously part of the same set.The transfer scenes are a medium blue color on eight panel shapes. This is a large set.The teapot is 9" high to the finial top and 9 1/2" wide from handle to spout and the sugar is 8" high to the finial top and 7" wide handle to handle. The set is in very good condition with the normal light age crazing and two small chips on the sugar lid rim and repairs on the teapot lid rim(these are both in places w it is not that obvious). Thanks for looking and good luck!
