19th Cent Cabinet Card Of A Wonderful Japanese Family

19th Cent Cabinet Card Of A Wonderful Japanese Family
Up for auction is a fabulous cabinet card of a very handsome Japanese family in traditional clothing except for the eldest son who seems to be wearing some kind of uniform. The family consists of the father, mother and 3 sons. Japanese family portraits of the 19th century are fairly rare, and this is the first one I've personally come across. The image measures 3 1/2" x 5 1/4". It is sharp and clear, and in excellent condition. The photographer's name, H. Hasegawa, Yonago, Nippon plus Japanese script is inscribed at the bottom of the card that measures 5 1/2" x 7 1/2. The card is in excellent condition with some very slight ruffling at the corners.
