Offered is a pair of beautiful 19th century Harvard University baseball items. The first item is a silver loving cup trophy engraved "Fifth Prize for Excellence in Batting Won by H.U.B.B.C. 1895". HUBBC being the Harvard University Base Ball Club. The trophy is stamped on the bottom N.G. Wood & Sons Boston Mass. The trophy does show some tarnish but is in very good condition with no dings or scrathches. Measures 7.75" tall. The next item is a beautiful hand-blown lidded glass stein depicting a painted image of a fielder chasing after a ball. "Harvard" is lettered accross the base. Dates to 1880-1890s. Original pewter lid. Measures 5" tall to top of glass and 6.5" to the finial on lid. Amazing quality item and in pristine condition. Buyer adds $18.00 shipping charge. Insurance included.
