A finely detailed French figural gilt spelter clock with an associated pair of ewers, with ebonite bases, France, circa 1890. The case with the figure of a hunter carrying a goose on his right shoulder and holding a hunting stick in his left hand. The brass bezel covering the dial has bevelled glass. The enamel dial, with Roman chapter ring, has a faint hairline on the right-hand side which is hardly noticeable. The clock strikes the hours and the half-hours on a bell.
