This is a wonderful and scarce Circa 1832-1835 Staffordshire Red Transfer Ware Plate in the Millenium pattern by Ralph Stevenson & Son . It measures approximately 7-3/4" in diameter. The condition is excellent with NO chips, NO cracks, NO repairs and NO re-glazing. There are a couple of transfer border 'skips' which are NOT chips. The well area shows utensil marks when angled towards a bright light source for inspection. The red transfer printed decoration is crisp and contrasts beautifully against the white pottery. The backside shows the transfer printed pattern name 'MILLENIUM'. This pattern is noted as being by Ralph Stevenson & Son, circa 1832-1835. The backside shows age appropriate wear which is commensurate with age. This is a highly sought after pattern in excellent condition.
