19th C mourning ring. The decorative top of the ring features a faceted glass window with brown woven hair, bordered by a black enamel top with the words 'IN MEMORY OF'.The ring is unmarked but guaranteed to be solid gold. It is beautifully crafted with delicate scrolls at the sides.The ring is a size 6.The initials 'H. G.' are engraved in the back, as pictured.Weight: 1.9 Dwt. or 3.0 GramsGood antique condition. Some rubbing to the glass window. Some normal wear and scuffs to the enamel and a small bit of loss in the corner, above the letter R in the word MEMORY. No breaks or problems with the gold setting.Thanks for your interest.
