19THC PAIR "NEWCASTLE" WINE DECANTERS c 1835

In my opinion a beautiful early 19thc PAIR OF NORTH EAST GLASS "NEWCASTLE" BELL SHAPED WINE DECANTERS . A fine genuine pair , with a very decorative simple facet and lobe cut body design ; decorative flower ribbed cut genuine hollow stoppers . Deep star cut under base pontils !! I estimate the decanter to be circa 1830-5 in date.

The decanter is in good order. There is an expected amount of age associated wear and tear, chip free ! A good claen and very usable pair. Full measure sized decanters.

Height of the decanter is 10.75 inches, width at 4 inches.

Part of my own glass collection.
