2 Original Thewalt German Beer Steins Description: Both steins are produced by Albert Jacob Thewalt in West Germany , post WW2, and marked with their logo of a T enclosed in a triangle - ORIGINAL THEWALT âe" Western Germany . The first Stein has a luster finish and stands just about 12 inches tall x 4 1⁄4 inches across the base and has an attached lid with an intricate pattern. It holds 4 cups. A number 9 is engraved on the bottom and a number 1203 engraved near the handle. The bordered scene on the front of the Stein is that of men and women celebrating. Surrounded by oak leaves t are plaques on both sides of the aforementioned scene âe" one is inscribed, bleibt froh das Herz âe" the other inscription, Bei Freud v. Scherz. The sculptured handle resembles a tree limb. The entire Stein is in excellent condition. The second stein is a Limited Edition Graf Zeppelin Stein and has no lid. It too has a luster finish and stands at 7 inches tall x 4 inches across the base. It holds 2 cups. On the bottom it has Limited Edition of 5000 and the number 4328 engraved. T is another mark that I cannot make out. Near the bottom, across the stein words are inscribed, Deutsche Luftschiffer Aussfellung in Frankfurt a. M. 1909. The small tag attached to the handle states, "On July 26, 1909, the airship LZ 3 designed by Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin
