Country Garden's lovely, bright yet dainty flower design is hand painted on an off-white "Tweed-Tex" textured surface that looks like "cross hatches." This is one of the 1953 anniversary designs (which included the famous Town & Country patterns) in the style of Eva Zeisel, but probably designed by either Charles Murphy or Belle Kogan at the Red Wing factory in Minnesota (their saying then was, "From the Land of Hiawatha").
