You are purchasing a 2001-D “ Double struck in collar ” Lincoln Memorial Cent. This coin has been authenticated, graded, and sealed in an encapsulated coin holder by ANACS, one of the oldest coin graders in the United States . This coin is certified to be in MS66 Red Condition with a mint error “Double struck in collar”.

The coin exhibits many design details rotated approximately 75-80 degrees between strikes (or 20% rotated) on both the Obverse and Reverse of the coin. The Observe shows Lincoln ’s facial profile above the date, the back of his bust is located at approximately the 10 o’clock position, and some letters of the first strike liberty are visible near the “G” of IN GOD WE TRUST . The Reverse shows an almost complete Lincoln memorial rotated the same percent as the obverse, with the word “CENT” between the 3 and 4 o’clock position. This is an amazing coin; every time I look at it I keep finding more details. Take a look at the pictures and see for yourself.

There are quite a few “Double struck in collar” coins listed on EBay, but none as dramatic as this highly graded coin. Any true error collector would be proud to have this coin in their collection.
