Coin in MINT CONDITION as received from the Royal Canadian Mint This is the 2010 Canada Olympic Winter Games: Surviving the Flood Proof Silver Coin. This coin is legal tender of Canada and has a face value of $250. It is a FULL KILOGRAM of PURE SILVER . This coin is SO BIG that I have put a U.S. Quarter Dollar next to it in some of the photos to make sure you realize how BIG this coin is. As you can see in the second photo, it is almost THICKER than the entire DIAMETER of the quarter ! This Canadian coin is certified to be 99.99% fine silver with a guaranteed weight of 1,000 grams ... which is over 35 ounces ... and more than 2.2 pounds. The coin's diameter is 101.8 millimeters. The coin is, of course, protectively encapsulated and has never been removed from its capsule. The reverse design was created by Xwa lack tun (Rick Harry), the son of a heriditary chief. An eagle caught salmon and dropped the fish into the canoes, ensuring their survival. The coin's obverse features the portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth
