** 2011 UNITED STATES ARMY COMMEMORATIVE PROOF SILVER DOLLAR (No Reserve)

You are bidding on a Stunning 2011-P United States Army Commemorative Proof SILVER Dollar . The Coin, the COA, and the box are in perfect condition just as I received them from the US Mint. This is not one of those coins that has been passed around from dealer to dealer.

This coin was minted by the Department of the Treasury, United States Mint in recognition and celebration of the establishment of the U.S. Army in 1775; to honor the American soldier of both today and yesterday, in wartime and in peace; and to commemorate the traditions, history and heritage of the U.S. Army and its role in American society, from the Colonial period to today. This coin is legal tender of the United States.

United States Mint proof coins are extraordinarily brilliant, with sharp relief and a mirror-like background. Their frosted, sculpted foregrounds give them a special cameo effect. Proof blanks are specially treated, polished and cleaned to ensure high-quality strikes. Each coin also bears the “P” mint mark reflecting its striking at the United States Mint facility at Philadelphia. Each coin is packaged in a black velvet, satin-lined presentation case and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity signed by the Director of the United States Mint.
