DESCRIPTION:We are pleased to offer you this lovely China Head lady doll made by the C.F. Kling and Company, 1890s+. A larger 22" size she is a pink tint china shoulder head with china porcelain hands, molded fingers intact, she has porcelain legs with painted molded blue boots, her legs have painted black ribbon ties. Cloth body is very old, a hard cloth with material wrapped around the waist. This was done to secure a "stick" style doll stand to the body. Body shows some overall wear, a few light stains but all together intact. Has the feel of possibly sawdust filled, I can't be certain, there is no leakage. Shoulder head secure stitched on the body, three holes in the front and three holes in the back. I do not know her past history and or if all body parts are original, the shoulder head I believe is antique and older than the body. The back of her head has #189 and the #10. She has beautifully molded painted dark blonde brush stroked hair, great facial coloring with painted blue eyes, a white accent dot to the side of each pupil, long brown brows and closed mouth with high color blush on the cheeks. A few light paint rubs on the checks, see photos. Wears vintage Turn of the Century style green print dress with matching bonnet, antique slip, and pantaloons. There is a cameo pin on her dress. Clothing is clean and in nice condition,
