Backs of most indicate they were used as file photos by a "Times" newspaper. The Paul Richards (GM) photo has a "bite" out of the bottom-right border. The set includes: Bob Aspromonte John Bateman Jim Beauchamp Walter BondHal Brown Bob Bruce Harry Craft Dick Farrell Nellie Fox Jerry Grote Steve Hertz Ken Johnson Bob Lillis Don Nottebart Jim Owens Claude Raymond Paul Richards Al Spangler Rusty Staub Walter Williams Hal Woodeshick Jim Wynn Larry Yellen This is part of a large collection of sports photos I accumulated during more than 25 years (1980-2006) as editor and publisher of numerous sports collectors' papers, magazines, books and catalogs. Many of the photos are original team-issued, newspaper or wire service press photos from the 1920s-1980s. As such they may show edge bumps, corner creases, etc. Some will have newspaper editing marks and/or notes on front and/or back. Beyond those expected signs of age and use, significant condition issues will be noted. Unless noted, I presume these photos to have been printed contemporaneously to the subject depicted, i.e., they are not later-generation computer prints. Significant condition issues: None
