These beautiful medallions are 1 AV ounce of .999 copper each and are from the second run of a new commemorative medallion from the Pond Science Institute featuring Nikola Tesla. You will receive (2) B/U medallions encased in Air-Tite coin capsules . (This is the same design and struck from the same dies, but unlike the 1st strike medallions, this run has more of a matte finish to the surface.) Nikola Tesla was a Serbian American inventor, electrical engineer, mechanical engineer and physicist best known for his contributions to the design of the alternating current (AC) electricity supply system. He worked with Thomas Edison and George Westinghouse among others, and held many patents in various fields of science and engineering.
