2Pac Original Business Card Primary Artists: 2Pac Media: Memorabilia Release Year: 1996 Notes:I received a few of 2Pac's original business cards from his former manager while he was signed to Death Row records. More specifically, these cards were found inside 2Pac's black Humvee that has since been auctioned a few times. The 2Pac Legacy book contains replicas of this card, however there is printing on the back side and the lettering is not raised. This item is for an original business card - not a replica. As you run your fingers over the lettering you can feel that they are raised and that the card is not a knock off or replication. I have parted with most of these cards over the years so this auction is likely the last chance to get one of your own. There is not and will not be a certificate of authenticity as those can be faked and are worthless in my opinion. My reputation for selling legitimate goods, an extensive 2Pac collection, and the physical characteristics of the card should sufficiently authenticate it.
Interesting about this card is the lack of mention of Death Row entirely. We know that 2Pac was planning on starting his own subsidiary label under the wing of Death Row, but this card almost makes it seem as if 2Pac's company would be very much its own entity, regardless of the paper stream. ... read more
