3 Antique Pilgrim Art Tole Rose Cutwork Metal Trays NR

These three attractive old metal trays were specifically grouped together because of their green color. They look lovely displayed together in a dining room or over a fireplace. The collection includes: (1) A cutwork edge willow green oblong tray stamped "Hand decorated tole by Pilgrim Art No. 143". It is tole painted in lovely coral and white roses. The painted graphics are in excellent condition. T is one 1 inch long paint rub on the background color near the rim. It measures about 18 by 13 inches. (2) An oval tray painted with fruit. Foil label says "Handpainted R.J. Nash Co. New York". This one has some rubs and some missing paint but it is still in colorful condition with no dents. It measures 14 and 1/2 inches by 10 and 1/2 inches. (3) A tole painted green metal pan with lid and a wooden handle....could have been a bed warmer or a container to melt butter...not sure which....or, even a "silent butler". It is beautifully painted with pale cream and pink roses. A few nicks but still in great condition. It measures 6.5 by 8 inches with a 5 inch handle. All three are at least 50 years old, I am pretty sure. I bought them years ago at an antique mall and displayed them on my fireplace mantle because the greens and rose patterns looked so nice with my cottage style furniture.
