TEETH DESCRIPTION You are bidding on a collection of over 300 fossilized sharks' teeth. You are guaranteed over 300 teeth, but we have counted in excess of 400 teeth in some of the groups of sharks' teeth that we have listed on ebay. Some of these teeth are smooth and shiny, others are sharp and rough, some are dark, and some are light. All of these factors depend on how deep beneath the ocean floor they were buried during fossilization as well as with the type of minerals they were buried in. The colors of the teeth range from black, brown, and tan to orange, red, and white! The color of the tooth also depends on the types of minerals they were buried in over time. The species of sharks that these teeth come from include some or all of the following: Mako, Sand, Lemon, Bull, Dusky, Tiger, Black Tip, White Tip, Snaggletooth, Hemiprisitis, and Carcharodon Megalodon. The teeth are between 15 and 25 million years old from around the Miocene Age! Sharks' teeth can only be found in a couple locations on earth, making them very rare and sought after. The teeth are from the Gulf of Mexico, Florida , and Australia . Lastly, the sharks' teeth in the picture are the EXACT sharks' teeth that you will be receiving, so bid with confidence!
