offered is a nice 1930's english made broadfellow pocket lighter. the broadfellow features an unusual diagonal flint wheel mechanism design. the mechanism was invented in 1931 by issac aronowitz of cambridge england for the maurice model-[see patent below]. this lidded broadfellow looks to date mid 1930's. the well made lighter measures 2-1/8" tall and is in good used condition. the entire body has brassing but it almost looks as te lighter is brass plated so its not very detracting. the flint wheel moves freely and lighter should work with service of flint and fuel. the bottom is marked braodfellow foreign with patent and reg numbers. this model broadfellow is rare to find and would show well next to its taller longfellow model in your collection. insurance optional Check out my other items ! **please view all the fascinating lighters-ronson-quality dunhills-and deco i offer this week on ebay. please email questions-thanks.
