Oneida Community Tudor Silverplate 1946 Queen Bess II Pattern 36 Piece Flatware Lot This is a lot of mostly knives and forks in the Oneida silver plate flatware 1946 Queen Bess II pattern. Oneida had another Queen Bess pattern in 1924, hence the "I" and "II" designations. This pattern has a gracefully curved and gently tapered handle, with a beautiful floral spray winding diagonally across the handle tip. The backs of the handles also show the pattern, and t is a bit of flower and leaves at the handle base. This was one of the first "modern" patterns of post-war America, and it was hugely popular. This pattern was actually my mother's wedding silver, and I saw it every day while growing up.I've hand polished and hand washed all these pieces, and they're in good vintage condition. This lot does show its age a bit, but still shined up beautifully. I see some wear to the ends of some of the fork tines, and t are scratches in the bowls of the two teaspoons. Though not showroom perfect, the lot looks about right for its age, and would be great for buffet dinners for large crowds. This lot includes a ton of knives and forks. are all the pieces included in this listing:11 Modern Solid Handled Dinner Knives 9" long (Listing for $12 each at the silver replacement services, so a $72 value, )16 Dinner Forks 7-1/2" long (Listing for $8 each, read more
