This is a breakfast menu for the Parents and Relatives Reception in honor of the First California Regiment and is dated San Francisco August 25, 1899. The First California Regiment and Batteries A and D of the California Heavy Artillery served with distinction in Manila during the Spanish American and Philippine American Wars. This is the COVER ONLY. The menu is not present. There is a great image on the cover of a soldier with his rifle at parade rest. The reverse has advertising for local businesses. The menu measures app 4-1/2" x 7". The front has some very minor wear, writing and creases which do not detract and the reverse has some minor wear as well. This was found with other items from the Spanish and Philippine American War period. Please see the photos for more details. This will be a fantastic addition to your collection. I will be listing other items from the Philippine/Spanish American War era. Thanks.Items are packed safe and sound and I do not add on excess shipping fees.
