Item: Tsuba for Wakizashi

The rounded-square iron Tsuba is decorated with Suemon(embedded inlay) and gold-silver-copper inlay, design of a Kachimushi and a bamboo stick, outlined in Sukidashi-mimi.

Kachimushi (dragonfly is very popular and loved insect in Japan. It was called "Akizu" in ancient time ("Akizu-island" means "the Japanese islands").
Especially Samurai class loved them, because dragonfly eats many harmful insects, in addition, they never go back during hunting .)
