I am uncertain of the age of these old baby bottle nipple caps (no bottles, just the caps). I would guess them to be late 1800's into the early 1900's but would appreciate any information! T are 5, each stands about 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/2" diameter at the bottom. T is a 'shoulder' about 3/4" up from the bottom from which the cap tapers to about 1" diameter, obviously made for the old, long rubber nipples. The clear glass is about 3/16" thick and full of bubbles and straw marks. One of the caps has an interior 'wave' or fracture inside the glass that looks to be from the manufacturing process. Otherwise, t are no chips or cracks. They are a bit dirty and have some very typical signs of use but would clean up quite nicely and are certainly in very good condition for their age! Each one has some, or all, of the original embossed mark of the manufacturer, that says "BINKY'S NIP CAP USA" just above the shoulder. Each weighs almost 1/4 pound, so will ship well protected at 2 pound rate.

Wonderful for your collection, or for set design or interior decorator use. Making a movie, or other production? Authentic period style makes for great props!

Pay with cash, money order, certified check; personal checks require 10 WORKING days clearing time. Unfortunately, I can no longer offer to accept paypal for domestic transactions

BIDDERS, Please be sure before you bid. Your bid is a contract. I do my very best to describe my items in pictures and text, and disclose all 'faults' clearly. If you have any questions or want additional photos, just e-mail me in advance. I will respond promptly.

Buyer pays all shipping, insurance (optional but strongly recommended), and packaging costs. Shipping charges quoted within the individual auction apply to domestic addresses only. I ship via USPS Priority, Parcel Post, Media or First Class Mail with a delivery confirmation.

International shipments incur additional packaging and handling fees plus overseas postage rates that vary greatly. Shipping & handling charges will be individually quoted at the conclusion of the auction; estimates may be provided in advance but are subject to confirmation after item is packaged for overseas shipment.

Please check out my other auctions of really neat stuff. I'll happily combine multiple auction items won within 3 days to save shipping costs - even longer if payment is received for initial item(s) won!!

If you're the winning bidder, I will contact you within 24 hours, & I expect to hear from you within 48 hours to confirm payment & shipping. Full payment must be received within 9 days of end of auction. A dispute will be filed as soon as allowed but not more than 7 days after auction ends if t has been no communication from buyer; 10 days after auction ends if payment has not been received.

Most of my items come from estates, auctions and garage sales. I try to acquire 'clean' items but I cannot guarantee that t will be no odors, pet hair, etc., as I have no control over the homes from which they came. I do my best to remove any offensive odors, etc. but cannot guarantee all items to be allergen-free. I generally do not attempt to clean old items so I will not damage their patina.

Insurance strongly recommended. I pack my items very well but will not be held responsible for items damaged or lost in shipping.
