I am uncertain of the age of these old baby bottle nipple caps (no bottles, just the caps). I would guess them to be late 1800's into the early 1900's but would appreciate any information! T are 5, each stands about 2 1/2" tall, 1 1/2" diameter at the bottom. T is a 'shoulder' about 3/4" up from the bottom from which the cap tapers to about 1" diameter, obviously made for the old, long rubber nipples. The clear glass is about 3/16" thick and full of bubbles and straw marks. One of the caps has an interior 'wave' or fracture inside the glass that looks to be from the manufacturing process. Otherwise, t are no chips or cracks. They are a bit dirty and have some very typical signs of use but would clean up quite nicely and are certainly in very good condition for their age! Each one has some, or all, of the original embossed mark of the manufacturer, that says "BINKY'S NIP CAP USA" just above the shoulder. Each weighs almost 1/4 pound, so will ship well protected at 2 pound rate.
Wonderful for your collection, or for set design or interior decorator use. Making a movie, or other production? Authentic period style makes for great props!
