This 100 page soft cover book details the complete history of the B-17 Flying Fortress. The book contains numerous black and white photos and sixteen full page color illustrations as well as a fold out of a B-17 cutaway. This book was published by the Boeing Museum of Flight in celebration of the 50th anniversary of this famous aircraft. One of the most interesting aspects of this book is that it contains a complete explanation of the WW II Bomb Group tail markings for the various bomb groups. The cover has worn edges, but no rips or tears. T is a small stain on the front cover. The back cover and a few of the last pages have a slight water ripple (approx a 3" square), but it does not visually hurt the book. Insurance is included in the shipping price.
