I have recently purchased a big collection of these 8 x 10 signal corps photos, about 1500. I am not sure how they all came together but I believe it may even be a collection of the actual photographer as a majority of the photo descriptions on the back are hand written. Some have descriptions that are typed on and some have blank backs as well. Most of these are individually mounted onto a canvas piece with a tag section with holes punched, so they could be put into a book of some sort. For the most part they are all in perfect shape, except for the rolling around the edges. I have included a picture of the rolling so you know exactly what they look like. As far as the pictures are concerned, t are no rips, stains, tears, or any creasing. Please email questions as I believe these are an inportant part of history. I have just found out that these are from The Washington Times Herald Newspaper Library. Because of the close proximity to the government buildings, the DC newspapers had more pics than others around the country. That is why t are so many together. is a description:None of these have descriptions, they are all just jeeps in the snow.
