Definitely in some religious order from the 3rd quarter of the 19th Century but I tried to identify clothing with no clear success. Dressed in frock, roman type collar with medallion in center and with a pilgrim type buckle around dress. The case is in very nice condition and is listed in Berg's "19th Century Photographic Cases and Wall Frames" 2nd edition as "Union", page 92, image 1-32 and scarce. 30 day return privilege. Will combine shipping. The emblem on her collar appears to be a cross in which case there's a possibility she's a Civil War nurse.
