Welcome to my button auctions. I recently purchased a collection of antique buttons that belonged to a woman who lived in Vermont. I was told that she collected these in the 1940's. T are many names written on the backs of some of the papers, to indicate whom she received buttons from. This is a truly wonderful collection! These are some of the nicest buttons I've come across. The condition of them is excellent, as they were carefully stored in a large album. Each page measures 12" wide x 12.5" tall, including the background. I am selling them by the card, a she collected them, rather than splitting them up into small auctions. I have taken many pictures, including close-ups, of each lot. Please feel free to ask questions before bidding. I will be happy to answer you. You would have to look long, and hard, to find such beautiful buttons collected together. LOT #1 This lot consists of a full page of 75 china buttons. T are Banded Ringers, Calicoes, Stencils, Pie Crusts, Gaiters, sawtooths, a silver Pattern Eye, a fancy blue and white whistle, and more. Some of the ringers have colored bases. The calicoes measure 7/8" in diameter. The stencils range from 9/16" - 11/16" in diameter. T is a cute black and white face stencil button. I believe the green and cream colored at about 3 O'clock in the lower right ring, is an aluminum
