We put together this set for a beginner modeler or anyone that would love to see trains going around the tree this Christmas. It has a nice Bachmann Spectrum DC transformer, and a large oval consisting of Bachmann EZ Track with 12 curved pieces and 6 straight pieces, including the power track/re-railer. The locomotive is an AHM Southern Pacific Daylight/tender with horn and hook coupler that we got NOS this year. It runs great but the steam function does not work. The original box is included. The coaches are of unknown brand and have kadee couplers, so we added a horn and hook to a coach to facilitate coupling. There are two coaches, a baggage car, a vista car, and an observation car. The coaches are in great running condition, but are average in appearance, with some scratches and some plastic window pieces either missing or detached.
