You are bidding on one 10 oz. personal teapot. This teapot has a dripless spout and an internal ceramic strainer.

This Teapot was made by the now out of business Sterling China Co. in Wellsville, Ohio.

Note there a small gray metal mark under the glaze on the lower side and a black spot in the glaze on the inside--See pictures.

This Teapot has not been used and has no chips, cracks, or crazing.

The date stamp appears to be Y2 .

This Teapot is made of the Sterling White body and is fully vitrified.

The Teapot was fired 3 times: Bisque firing at about 2250F, Decal at 1500 F. and Glaze (Glost) firing at about 2140 F.

Made in USA.

Developed by Mary Curry Tresidder of the original park concession, Yosemite Park and Curry Company, the pattern incorporates The Ahwahnee's logo based on a California Indian basket pattern known as "Three-Legged Indian" representing three earth elements: earth, rain and fire.
