Hardcover with 388 pages and catalogue of other G.P. Putnam's Sons books. This great old book measures about 9 1/4" by 6 1/2". The spine has some fading and a tear on bottom of spine as shown in photos. The first color plate with tissue is loose. Other than that it is a very nice book.

Abbot wrote for the Hearst's New York Journal , in 1921, named the editor of Christian Science Monitor .

He had a brief career in politics leading the movement for Ethics Enforcement with Herbert Bayard Swope working on the constitution of the ANSE .
