This is an excellent and rare example of the best aperture target sight ever produced. The A.J. Parker "Twin Zero" series was designed to fit the Lee Enfield No.4 rifles with no drilling or tapping required (just remove standard battle sight and ejection screw and bolt onto the receiver). TZ 4/47 sights have been favorites with competitive shooters ever since they first appeared in 1947. This rare example has elevation scales calibrated for 7.62 mm NATO chambered versions of the No.4 rifle such as the L8 series, L42A1 and L39A1 Enforcer. Please note it will NOT fit the Indian Ishapore 2A and 2A1 SMLE rifles. It can also be used effectively on .303 chambered No. 4 rifles if you don't use the longer range elevation scales. This sight is all-original, numbers-matching and fully functional with crisp, positive There is no rust anywhere on this sight. Original finish is mostly intact with excellent, deep bluing and only minor handling wear. Some minor scratches on the scale faces are evident (see photos) but may be easily polished/buffed out. The scale adjustment screws are a bit chewed up but still functional. Sight includes 2 mounting screws (one shown inserted) and the Parker Hale PH59 6-aperture eyepiece so it's ready to mount and use on your rifle!
