Alice in Wonderland Lot 8 Hamilton LE Pewter Figurines

From my personal collection of items featuring Characters from the Lewis Carroll classics "Alice in Wonderland" & "Through the Looking Glass". For your consideration: this LOT of eight (8) painted pewter figurines from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" by the Hamilton Collection, England UK 1982. This lot consists of Queen of Hearts (#2241), White Rabbit (w/watch #3447), Caterpillar (#illegible), Cheshire Cat (#2748), Fish Footman (no #), Frog Footman (#1885), Duchess (#1568) and Gardener (#2369). Numbers are hand-painted in gold on each base. (Not included are Alice, Mad Hatter, White Rabbit (as Herald), and March Hare). These are not the plastic versions issued later, but the originals in cast-pewter, finely crafted and detailed, by Mark Jones and Tyler (based on the illustrations by Sir John Tenniel), in a limited edition of 12,500. They are in EXCELLENT condition; the only signs of wear are a slight crack in the paint on the Queen's extended left forefinger; the Frog's tray is slightly loose on his hand but still well-attached. The Queen comes with Certificate of Authenticity and original box. Size ranges from 3.5" high to 4". These are exquisite creations and highly collectible. Low starting bid!
