This beautiful 13" composition doll was created by the Vogue Co. in 1947. She is in remarkably good condition for her age, with clear eyes, and only the very faintest craze-lines on her face. I didn't even see them until the flash photo shot (pix #2). The head seems a little loose but she can hold a pose. Her costume is all original and is found in two of my reference books. In the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Vogue Dolls, 2nd Edition", she is pictured on page 42 & listed as a "Jean from Young Folks". In Jan Foulke's "Guide to Dolls" published in 2011, she is shown on page 254 & identified as "Betty Jane". Her little pink felt jacket has a few moth holes. Her dress is clean and free of damage but may have some slight shelf dust. Please ask any questions PRIOR to bidding. USA only!
