Amelia Earhart Seiberling Rubber Shoes Poster 1920's

Up for auction is a vintage poster that I believe dates to perhaps the late 1920's to the early 1930's from Seiberling Shoes. It depicts Amelia Earhart in her aviator garb and high heels and reads, "....and now I WALK ON AIR too."

Seiberling originally started as a rubber / latex company and later branched out into shoes.

The poster measures approximately 40-3/4" tall by 27" wide.

It is being sold in "AS AS" - "AS FOUND" condition, so please review the photos carefully and feel free to request additional photos or information.

It appears to have been folded (in eight sections) for a number of years and does have deep creases at each fold. There are some short tears at the outside edges of the creases. The longest tear is at the top center crease and measures approximately 2-1/2" long. There is a rip on her leather coat (where her hand is in her pocket) and a small hole and an additional small tear on her jacket as well. There is some soiling / dirty spots on the upper left quadrant.

The reverse side is quite dirty as shown in the photos.

Although not perfect, I believe it's an iconic piece of fashion history that is still suitable for framing.

Thanks for looking!
