ANTIQUE 12-DRAWER OAK CABINET - File Map Blueprints Art

Please !

Up for your consideration: This awesome quartersawn oak 12-drawer cabinet. Measures approximately 64 inches high, 25 inches wide, and 20 inches deep. Drawers are felt lined and measure 20 inches wide by 15 inches deep. Drawers are 2 1/2 inches high. Hardware appears to be original; they all match and are perfect for the unit. Each handle has a slot for adding a label if you require. Looks good without labels, too.

One other neat feature: has a "breadboard" type slide-out writing shelf. All ready to go into your home, country kitchen, den, library, or country store!

I believe itâe(tm)s from the early 1900s. Was told it came from a doctor's estate in southern Illinois. I believe he used it to store X-ray film. It was labeled a "map cabinet."

Weâe(tm)ve cleaned it up and added felt to the drawer bottoms. Great for storing photos, gems, jewelry, art, photographs, or architectural drawings. Use your imagination -- this is a very versatile piece of Americana!

A piece like like this doesn't come around often. In my years of antique hunting, this is only the second one I've found, both from medical estates.

Perfect, sturdy shape for its age. Has the typical charming wear. You will not be disappointed with this piece.
