Antique 1800's Pineapple Log Cabin quilt top 76"x 91" Tiny early fabric strips

For auction is this antique 1800's Pineapple Log Cabin pattern quilt top that has hand pieced tiny strips of early fabrics, and the blocks then pieced together by machine, measuring 75" x 75" with each block measuring 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" and is backed by old cream color cotton sack cloth. Quilt is made from early cotton fabrics of Shirting, Chintz, gingham, and calico. Nice colors of cream, madder brown, grey, green, pink, red, and Indigo blue. This quilt top is in wonderful condition for its age, but does have a loose seam on one edge that can be resewn, tiny light age spots, and wear with fabric deterioration on several blocks. This quilt top is thin and crisp, would look wonderful hanging on a wall or in a frame. Beautiful antique quilt with lots of tiny strips of early fabrics that are pieced together with tiny stitches. This quilt is possibly from the civil war era, or even earlier. An amazing piece of hand work from early American days gone by.

Great addition to a collection of antique quilts. Wonderful gift idea, would look very nice in a country primitive Farm house decor.
