Here is a recent estate find. This is a Rare Antique Signed 19th Century Cape Ann Encampment "All Seeing Eye" Brass Odd Fellows Commander Ornate Ceremonial I.O.O.F Sword with Scabbard and Ornate Signed Etched Blade. This is a very early and rare Odd Fellows Post Civil War Era Sword with Ebony Wood Handle and Ornate Engravings and Designs on the Brass Scabbard. The Blade is signed by the maker "Ames Sword Company Chicopee Mass." The Blade is etched with the former owners name "Wm. A. Perkins Jr." on one side, and "Cape Ann Encampment" on the other. There is also a n "All Seeing Eye" on the Hilt Counter Gaurd. The Scabbard is made of Brass with Engraved Etched Designs. The Sword measures approx. 36" long with the Scabbard. The Sword itself measures approx. 35" long with a 28" Blade, Overall Good Condition with normal wear from age, and a Nice Aged Patina!
