*****Description: Very Hard to find small size ANTIQUE WATER HEATER. Made by LAWSON of Pittsburgh. Last patent date on side is May, 1918. Made of Sheet and Cast Iron, with WOODEN knob and cast metal plumbings on side. Vented front and back. 4-legged stand. If you use as a display, there is even a "shelf" to put nuts, bolts, other items. Small, 13" heigt size makes this perfect for a Steampunk or Industrial display/decor, as it looks cool, but doesn't take up much room. Shipping wt is 12#. I do not know if there was something in the top, but there isn't, now. The knob DOES turn, not frozen. I do not know if complete, but you could probably use, if you wanted to. As you can see, there is a fine coating of surface rust, which I think adds to the charm of its age, but it could be buffed off and a blacking applied. (like used on cast iron wood heater stoves) SIZE:: Stands approx 13" high. 4 7/8" deep at deepest, and just over 6" wide. CONDITION: Overall, good, with visible rust, as shown in pix. As mentioned, I do not know if all necessary parts are present, so I took lots of pix from many angles. Please look at all pictures and judge condition. This is AN AUTHENTIC piece of AMERICAN INDUSTRIAL VINTAGE and NOT a reproduction. It will look perfect in a collection, or as a Stand-alone pieced. It is really COOL! NOTE: Any tag attached
