Because of all the different international law pertaining to the sale of antique Ivory, eBay prefers and dictates that I not sell this mirror outside of the United States. Sorry! I will gladly sell any of my other eBay auctions to anywhere in the World. …… After some searching on the net I was able to find out who made this exceptional French Gilt Bronze Mirror and who the artist was that designed it. Cast in the mid-19 th century this large, heavy French Bronze Mirror was designed by Fernand Duvinage. This inlaid Marquetry design consists of four different species of wood with an ivory background. This artist used this same design of flowers and birds, in many other French 19 th century Objets d'Arts. In the close-up photographs you can see that the quality of this inlay is equal to or better than Galle Wood Marquetry. There are shrinkage lines to the thin Ivory, but both panels are perfect and there are no repairs. Each door panel measures 4 5/8” wide by 10” tall.
