A very nice full size violin in playable condition, labeled:ANTONIUS STRADIVARIUS CREMONENSISFaciebat Anno 17(36)Also a small label saying "Made in Germany"It is in excellent condition and has only the common F crack on the treble side, and some varnish wear from use as seen in the pictures.The top is made of 2 pieces of spruce with even medium grains. It is in perfect condition except for minor wear on the varnish. Needs a good cleaning and polish.The two piece back of attractive tiger maple is in mint condition.The sides are made of matching maple. They are in perfect conditionThe maple of the scroll and neck is of maple with faint flames, and in perfect condition. The pegs work but may need some lubrication.Fully lined and blocked.The body length is 358mm.Very nice shaded red brown varnish over golden ground with very nice patina, very well preserved with some signs of good use.Very old low quality strings. For best results, you need a set of strings of your choice.Return is accepted. You have 14 days. I shall give a full refund minus the shipping cost, if not satisfied.
