Antique American Mahogany Shelf Clock Circa 1800 Description: A very unusual American shelf clock circa 1800. The case is mahogany and there is a painted label inside. The dial is elaborately engraved and silvered brass. This is probably an adaptation of some sort. The dial appears to be older. The weights are square and the pendulum is very small and probably not original. The clock does work and comes with a winding key. It is 48" high from the top of the highest finial to the bottom. It is 15" wide by 7" deep. It looks like a miniature tall case clock. The case is very well made with fine inlays, carvings and moldings. It's quite decorative. Guaranteed to be as described.
