Antique Barber's Sanitary Cup Mug Shaving Scuttle Japan

Up for consideration is an extremely rare Japanese Shaving Scuttle made in the 1950's. This Seto-Marujyu shave mug has the Japanese Sun trade mark in blue, says "Made in Japan" and still has the Japan sticker adhering to the bottom of the scuttle. It's in pristine condition and is likely unused. The scuttle is made of white porcelain with a notch for resting a shave brush, a handle to hold for lathering, a crosshatch grove pattern in the bowl for lathering soap or cream, and a nice area for adding hot water. These are very hard to find at all, especially in this condition, and are practical in addition to being a nice presentation piece. The other side reads "Special Sanitary - Shaving Soap-Cup for Barber." Good luck and God Bless.
