Antique Bent Wood 99 128 Singer Sewing Machine Case

This is an Antique Bent Wood Singer Portable Sewing Machine Case ONLY.

It dates from the late 1920's and fits Singer models 99's and 128's.

The case is solid and in a very nice aged condition. It has some scratches, dings and blemishes. This original mat finish has a nice aged look with the original decal. There are no dry patches.

The case is meant to sit on the edge of a table and a knee bar inserts in front so you can control speed with your leg.

There are no accessories. You only get what is pictured and described in the ad. There are clips for attachments, knee bar and oil can inside the lid.

The speed control mechanism was completely disassembled, cleaned, reassembled and tested to ensure smooth speed control.

The rubber feet were missing on the bottom so I added tack-in felt pads.

There is no key, but I have included a small screwdriver that fits the lock.

The case measures 17-1/2" x 8-1/2" and is 12-1/2" tall.

It will hold any Singer machine with a 12-1/4" x 6-5/8" base. The base is 2-1/2" deep.

The handle, hinges and locks are in good working order. The chrome on the handle has mild surface rust.
