B. L Marble Chair Company. In Bedford Ohio U. S. Barzilla L. Marble started making furniture with his father at the age of 12. By age 14 he became supervisor in his fathers co. In 1894 He moved to Bedford Ohio and formed his own furniture company. B.L. Marble Chair Co. 1910 he began making office furniture. During World War II, metal was hard to come by so most furniture had much more wooden parts. As you can see by pictures, this chair is in that era. SERIES 4412, Branded 124H, Chair #5592 1/2 Adjustable with original wood peg and is a swivel, also has casters. Measures 34" x 21" x 23.5"Shipping weight would be 63. I would take the seat off of base for shipping, box would be around 29" x 28" x 26"Condition excellent has great patina, also wear mares and scrapes from years of use.
