Antique Blue & White Staffordshire Serving Bowl with Lid and Bird Finial - Rare

Featuring a beautiful and rare piece of antique Staffordshire. This is a small lidded tureen or serving dish with a bird finial.

Stands about 5 3/4" high from table to top of finial and about 7 3/4" wide from handle to handle. The lid is notched.

The piece is unmarked - probably early 19th century (circa 1820).

One of the handles has an old hairline and there is an old hairline running the width of the bottom of the bowl.

No other chips or cracks are noted. These imperfections/damage due not significantly detract from the look of the piece.

I would consider HTF and a worthy addition to any historical or antique Staffordshire or transfer ware collection.
