Antique blue Willow Serving Bowl - Myott This graceful serving piece is 10 3/4" from handle to handle, 2 3/4" deep, and 8 1/4" at the widest point of the bowl. It is marked on the bottom," Myott & Sons Co. - England". It is willow with a hand written 3 under the glaze. The Myott company was started in 1902 by Ashley Myott and his brother Sydney in Staffordshire, England (Stoke on Trent) with three ovens. This piece has the 3 marked on the bottom and 3 stilt marks on the inside bottom which means it was the 3rd piece stacked high in the oven. This practice was used until 1915 when ovens were made larger.
