This lot includes an antique hand "brace" drill and a beautiful Forstner style drill bit set with square shanks for the hand brace. The brace was my father's and the bits my uncle's both of whom were woodworkers. The Irwin drill bit set is from 1952 and has the original instructions and 10 wood boring bits in increments from 1/4" up to 1" and an adjustable sliding shoe bit for drilling from 1" to 2" holes as well as a spare chipper blade for this bit. The box is solid oak with brass hardware and nice clips to hold each bit.

I will be listing 25 separate tool and tool parts auctions in the next few hours. All of them are from many, many years of collections and works including my own personal tools, my father’s, uncle’s, and span quite a number of trades. Auto, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, sheet metal, and some Dewalt cordless drill parts. In general, they are in good to perfect working condition with some discoloration and possibly some rust or dirt still on them. Some may require a shot of WD40 or a quick clean but all are functional unless specifically described in the individual auction.
